I gave up on Twitter yesterday. No particular reason other then it consumed much time and energy and it did not result in sufficiently meaningful results.

So now I start this blog, without knowing whether this will lead to something meaningful.

I will try and write every week about labour economics and labour market policy. About the Netherlands predominantly, but also on other countries, both in Europe and elsewhere.

Expect statistics, links to research and references to more frivolous things that happen to interest me. Sometimes in Dutch, sometimes in English.

We’ll see how this goes.
